X ART STOP
KILAFORS
Art on the road! Or rather; on the rail. X Art Stop is an annual art festival arranged by Gaffel in villages along the local commuter line. Every year a new village is selected as venue for the festival, where local enthusiasts and artists from the region meet to make place specific art. In 2016 the festival took place in Kilafors.
We wanted the posters and the overall graphic profile to reflect the way Gaffel works, with a positive energy and an inclination towards the analogue, the handmade, and the reuse of materials. Collages and bold texts with a hint of retro seemed a perfect fit. We also made a very minimalistic documentation page, designed to focus on the photos of the art itself.
